I have been experimenting with different waveforms being generated by an Atmel microprocessor. I have 11 different waveforms programmed that are played randomly and each have random parameters.

A 12 inch secondary solid state coil, this video is its first run at 60% on the variac,
its spark lenght is 30 inches to a grounded rod. my intterupter is set at 80HZ and 100uS.
I Still have to experiment with tuning and set the over current protection to a higher level.
I 'm hoping to get 36 inch sparks.
I realized I had this on my camera, and I thought it would be interesting to post.
I have little clue as to what I am doing. I should get 20" sparks but I barely get 9".
I believe the failure was because it was out of tune. My over current protection was set too high. I have fixed that and have replace the IGBTs with $6 ones. Whoo, big money.
