Definitely my favorite song on Guitar Hero 3 currently, I present to you one of the first "Cliffs of Dover" full combos. This took about an hour, and is really way too easy to be in the 8th tier, but it still ROCKS!
Here is a video of my online Rock Band group "Heavy Petting Zoo" playing "Green Grass and Hide Tides" by "The Outlaw". Currently first, but we can still do a lot better than this!
Heavy Petting Zoo is:
Vocals : rabies
Drums : Cyclone
Bass : Huwonk
Guitar : wuLFe79
A decent run on one of the tougher songs in Rock Band. This does put me on the top of the leaderboards for this song (as of 12-15-2007), but if I can just work on the first part of the solo, I reckon I could get the FC pretty easily.
Metallica - Master Of Puppets - you know it, you love it, and it's brought to custom Guitar Hero 2 by Phreak, who made a really cool notechart for one of the greatest metal songs ever written :) I lost it a bit near the end, but on the whole it was a fairly good run!
This was a pretty good run, although I missed one star power phrase in the solo which screwed up my path quite badly. A better path would have yielded about 630K I think.
Fun song, although a little too long to play repeatedly :(
My good friend Hash and I recently sat down to break 1 million points on The Devil Went Down to Georgia
Really fun song - sorry about the video quality, and the phone ringing in the middle - I will also hopefully be posting some single player videos as soon as I can fix my video capture card.
GREAT song - definitely the most fun of the tough songs in GuitarHero 3 (I like it a lot more than Through the Fire and the Flames).
This song is only available via download on Xbox Live (and probably the Playstation Network for all you PS3 owners), and is definitely worth getting :).
I could have probably done a little better than this - I'm shooting for 650K sometime soon.
Due to popular demand, here is a video of what many consider to be the toughest custom out there - Dragonforces "Operation Ground and Pound". I'm not a huge Dragonforce fan, but I can't deny that their songs are hard as hell in Guitar Hero.
Foreplay/Long Time by Boston.
Song is decent enough - I'm not a big fan of classic rock, but I guess it's got its moments. I think the path is near optimal, although I might have got a few more points if I had activated overdrive earlier on the holds.
A good run of this song.
Huwonk was the only one to get the FC, but the rest of us all hit 99%, which was pretty sweet.
Heavy Petting Zoo is:
rabies : vocals
Cyclone : drums
Huwonk : bass
wuLFe79 : guitar
An impromptu band session with some of my good friends:
priestMLH : drums
FrankieB : bass
DevilMayAsian : vocals
wuLFe79 : guitar
A fairly good run I thought - all the songs we played we only had one run through of, so everything came together pretty well on this one :)
I had a -1 run on this song the day I got Guitar Hero 3, but it's taken me this long to sit down and finally get rid of that -1.
This is probably my best full combo in the game so far. To be honest, I don't really like the song that much, but both of those solos are just insanely fun to play, and awesome :)
One of my favorite songs in Guitar Hero 2 ever since the Playstation Demo disc way back in 2006. So much fun to play (and one of the few songs which is great fun for both players in co-op as well)
Finally got it!!! :)
This FC(Full combo) took ages - I'd keep on missing either in the chords, or in the solo - had a whole bunch of -1 runs until finally I managed to pull this one out.
YAY!!! :)

Apart from the random strums in the last few solos, this was pretty tame for the "big boss song" of a Guitar Hero game. One of the few songs in the game that I actually enjoy playing, and a decent run with a decent star power path.
Enjoy!!
OK - only a few stupid misses (and I think I know a slightly better SP path for next time), but I'm posting this because I usually suck at these fast strummy songs, and I thought I had a pretty good run at this one, so W00T!!!
Also a damn cool song, although my arms get sore as hell towards the end of the second chorus.
