This is a group song from Amdo, Tibet and features many famous Tibetan singers from the region. It's quite catchy and lively. Very pleasant to the ears as well, definitely recommended for people who love group performances. Enoy! :D
This famous song is written by The Sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso predicting his own rebirth which became true with the birth of his successor The Seventh Dalai Lama, Kelsang Gyatso in Lithang, Kham, Tibet.
O white crane, lend me your wings,
I go no farther than Lithang,
And thence, return again.
Many people don't know the lyrics to Aku Pema, arguably the most well-known song in Tibetan music. I accidentally found this version of it covered by Yungdrung Wangyal, and lucky for us it features the popular song's lyrics in Tibetan. I'm hoping that maybe someone out there can translate the lyrics into English so the masses can truly appreciate this masterpiece. :)
I have no idea what the name of the singer is because it is written in Chinese but I believe he is a very famous and new singer from Amdo, Tibet. It's a nice song, I hope you enjoy it! :D
[Corrected: The name of the singer is Yungdrung Wangyal.]
Yet another patriotic song dedicated to our great Fatherland sang by one of our most favorite singers from Tibet, Mr. Sherten. Enjoy and listen to the lyrics! Bravo to Sherten and all other brave singers in Tibet who had never abandoned their loyalty to their people and nation. We love you all and can't wait for the day when we'll be able to attend your concerts in person in a free Tibet!
