This is a test of my new Simplex 4051 electromechanical horns. They came with the side projectors and I tightened the volume screw so that it wouldn't be so loud. You can practically have a conversation over it!
I just got a new ESL 449CRT smoke detector. It does not have a sounder, as you can see. Also, instead of having a test button, it uses a magnet test feature. I wired this up without a panel because I don't have one, and I know how to wire it up without one.
I am using a 9V battery to power my old, very dirty 445CT. I believe it was made in the mid to late 1980's. It was so dirty that the sensing chamber is probably full of spider webs!
