John Milford Rutter is an English composer, choral conductor, editor, arranger and record producer. In 2002 his setting of Psalm 150, commissioned for the Queen's Golden Jubilee, was performed at the Thanksgiving service in St Paul's Cathedral, London.
In celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizebeth II, on June 4th, 2002, there was a special service at St Paul Cathedral, featuring music by the Choir of St Paul Cathedral, joined in some songs by the Choir of the Chapel Royal.
One of the songs performed was John Scott's original arrangement of Psalm 84, or "Behold O God Our Defender".
Performed by an ensemble of choristers from two cathedrals, including Edward Burrowes and Andrew Johnson of St Paul's Cathedral, under the direction of former chorister Connor Burrowes.
The pictures are from various online sources, and focus on the coronation of Queen Elizebeth II, with some additional pictures of Westminster Abbey at the end.
