Tlaquepaque is 15 minutes south of Guadalajara....Some very nice shops and Great old restored Spanish architecture for blocks...This is a day trip, another day trip is Tonala Mexico 10 more minutes from here known for glass works.
July 2006 trip to Guadalajara Mexico..this was one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited..the 2nd largest city in mexico..very impressive spanish colonial architecture...capti vating catholic churches...the tempature never got over 80 degrees during my visit in july when it was 100 degrees in st louis missouri

a weeks vacation in coumel....be sure to a scooter or jeep and go to the east side of the island... It is less than 1hr from the cruise ship docks and really clean and beautiful...the last part of this clip in in downtown san miguel cozumel, that is where the ferry's and cruise ships stop...
