Another selection of clips & stills from my railway. The clips (with the exception of the 47 & 52 passing in the station ) were all filmed the day after the huge gale we had on the 18th January.
In 1994 I constructed a 4 track large circuit layout in my loft based on a ficticious WR/SR Junction. In 2002 interest turned to building a layout in my garden and the loft one gradually became redundant (and is now partly demolished). The pictorial story of loft to garden in still photos is shown in this video.. enjoy
Well it's been a while but here is the latest vid from the bambrough & mallenbourne line. this time featuring Westerns, Hymeks and all things blue grey.
It's been a while since the last video so here's a catch up. This video centres around the refurbished and expanded station of Bambrough & Mallenbourne. the video starts in the dark first though with afew night time shots of the sound fitted 47 and my rake of coaches with interior lights.
On Sunday 29th June 2008 The LT museum's 4-Car 1938 tube train was out on the Northern line to do 3 round trips from Morden to High Barnet commemorating the 70th anniversary of the 1938 tube stock. I was lucky enough to get a ticket for one of the runs so here is a brief video record of my trip on the 11am train
In this video we see some archive clips from 2003 and a few then and now shots. plus my new rake of Bachmann Mk2a Inter-City coaches. The station has had more building work added too... enjoy
A montage of short clips showing My garden railway running at night time. The coaches with lights are my 1970's vintage Tri-Ang Hornby Mark 2 coaches restored back to life last summer having bought them in a derelict state on e-bay
This is a very short film which uses the video of my inter-city 125 unit running round my garden layout but uses the sound of a real valenta powered 125 recorded by me 30 years ago!
