On January 20, 1989, ACT-UP San Francisco staged a Die-In and March in downtown San Francisco, culminating with a demonstration at the Pacific Stock Exchange. Demonstrators voiced criticism of the lack of action by the U.S. Government and President George Bush on the day of his inauguration.
