We stopped by an outside dining area where a stage was set up. We watched different performers. I was interested by the way they held their fingers, bending them in ways I can't flex my own. Pretty weird, beautiful costumes but I thought the dancing was a bit boring... repetitive & slow.
In the afternoon people in Germany like to go out for coffee & cake. We stopped at the village of Cochem & checked out the shops & architecture there, before climbing up to Reichsburg Castle.
A view of the famous Golden Chedi of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. It is 79 feet high & 39 feet across at its base & covered with engraved gold plate. Inside the chedi are holy relics.
