Excellent shmup, but you'd swear by the way this plays, you'd think you were playing R-Type. That's because some ex-IREM employees also happened to be on SNK's development team when they made this game.
Also, many traces of the anime "Akira" are abound in some of the game's backgrounds.

Well this is a great little shoot'em up (shmup) game demo. It starts with our little well known game Space Invaders, slowly modernizes to become a bullet hell shmup. Well.. I died twice on the same thing, and got myself stuck and had to use up my bombs, but I didn't do that bad, considering this is actually my first go at the game. Yeah I recorded this as my first time playing it.
