Here's the new game I'm playing through, and one of my faves on the NES, Sunsoft's Gimmick! (Mr. Gimmick! in Europe).
I made a mistake when I mentioned Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse. I always get the subtitle switched with CV2: Belmont's Revenge.
DeceasedCrab had just wrapped up his LP of "Yo, Noid!" before I could get this up.
Because I'm lazy, see.
Anyway, yes, this video is just a sample of what Yo, Noid was like before it was Yo, Noid.
Ignore the "Part 2" caption. That was the remnant of a previous session that I forgot to delete. D'oh.
LISTEN to my lame mic skills!
EXPERIENCE the excitement of riding a mine (cart)!
THRILL as I fail miserably at the motorway stage!
All this can be yours IF the Price Is Right!
I'm aware that I botched the Captain Falcon quote.
And I do like cupcakes.
I'd also like to apologize for the extended silent periods while I'm playing. Keeping rhythm actually takes a better portion of my brainjuice.
A lot of hair-pulling occured during the recording of this video. A lot of dying, a lot of deep sobbing. But it's here. Now, go out there and kick this room's ass!
So as I touched on in the previous segment, failing to get at least one of the secret items denies you the ability to reach the final stage. Instead, you get the charming little number to your left after beating the three wizzrobe dudes. You are then dumped back to the title screen. BAD END!
Here. Have this while you wait for my next review.

Still having mic issues with Rhythm Tengoku. In the meantime, I've decided to break out my brother's digital camera and help some folks out with Bionic Commando: Rearmed's challenge rooms.
Lots of screaming and throwing of furniture was involved. I hope you enjoy it.
