North of Crouch, Idaho and on the far side of the Middle Fork Payette River next to Idaho's busiest Forest Service Road lies a beautiful sight... Rocky Canyon Hot Springs. If you can stand all of the people, non-stop dirt road traffic and river ford you are in for a treat.
Features private hot springs soaking pool, 2 outdoor pools, the exterior of the complex and other private pools, geodesic domes, alligators and camping area. Pretty sweet soak, the private pools are cleaned after each use, and the outdoor pools were clean as well. The geodesic domes were way cool, and can be rented out for camping.
A long forgotten warm springs located in the Boise National Forest near Cascade, Idaho. Bernard, also known as Smalley, was at one time a full-fledged hot springs resort. The pool today lies in the remnants of the resort's foundation.
Bonneville Hot Springs, a .25 mile hike and accessible from the official campground of the same name is located just off highway 21 north of Lowman. Bonneville features user built rock pools with sand/silt bottoms and a private soak shack that houses a bathtub.
