De cijfers van spuitenruil in Limburg geven aan dat er al jaren niet serieus wordt omgegaan met de overheidsmiddelen voor spuitenruil in Limburg. Er is geen bereik. Een stad als Kempense Turnhout (40000 inw) verdeelde in 2005 dubbel zoveel spuiten (14000sp) als heel de provincie (800000 inw) limburg samen: 7000sp.
