I was lucky enough to have my camera on hand when I stumbled upon a public show that the a group of shaolin monks put on at the university of washington on October 5, 2006. The video contains footage of actual shaolin monks that were in town for a kungfu demonstration.

''They try to trick you and get as much money as possible''. says one German student. In every surrounding village there are schools and tourist traps cashing in on their celebrity.
