Danyi N'Digbe is a small village near the town of Kpalimé in Southern Togo and is in a malarious area. The people live in extremely poor conditions without any protection from malaria.
500 nets were distributed in the village to achieve blanket coverage. There are 250 households and each received two nets.
This is an emergency distribution in the wake of Hurricane Felix of 3,500 nets to protect 7,000 people in the Sahsa area of RAAN.
Many parts of the RAAN are malaria endemic. The risk of widespread malaria in these communities has been significantly increased by the destruction wrought by Hurricane Felix.

An orphange, a school and a hospital on the outskirts of Kampala, all suffering badly from mosquitoes and malaria, are in desparate need of nets. 100 nets will be distributed to ensure all beds in the Nagalama hospital are covered, all beds in the Kikusa orphange are covered and children at the Kiro Kabowa Children's Centre receive nets.
