I found this large spider on my doorstep in Mbakaou, Cameroon. It wasn't very aggressive, but I think I agitated it a bit with my prodding. I managed to drive it back into the forest where I hope it is living out a full and peaceful life. Not sure what species it is, so if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to post.

Some ants I found attacking a termite nest in Mbakaou, Cameroon. The termites (white) fought back, but weren't much of a match for the larger ants. The sounds in the background are made by the ants.

A crazy large beetle that I found in the town of Mbakaou, Cameroon. Looks a bit ferocious, but it was very tame. I have no idea what kind it is, so if you have any ideas, feel free to post them.
Some ants in Cameroon. I don't know what species they are, but they travel in rather short formations (you can see the beginning and end of their colony walk by in a few minutes), make the sound that can be heard in the video, and prey on termites.
