This is my storm chase of a severe thunderstorm that hit the Perris area on August 6, 2005. It generated a microburst that toppled 16 power poles along San Jacinto Ave that resulted in several injuries as the poles fell on cars traveling along the road.

A severe line of thunderstorms that formed into a perfect bow echo on radar moved through our area. Winds got up to about 60mph or maybe higher at the height of the storm as was reported by NOAA themselves. I am not sure of any actual tornadoes, but many funnel clouds were spotted.

A unusual severe weather episode occured on Wednesday, April 11 across the Miami Valley with winds gusting to over 65MPH and many reports of hail all the way up to golf ball size.

Tornado warning and severe weather as seen from Mokena, IL. A possible funnel cloud can be seen at 1:15 in the video. Although this fast moving storm produced at lot of rain and high winds there was no damage in the immediate area.
