Lufthansa A340 flight 534 to Caracas take off from Frankfurt at 10.25 LT. I thought I had some time left, but was caught of guard when the aircraft started its take off roll from the 3rd runway.

Climbing out and banking to the right, you can see Monserrate in the background and the city centre. Then the South of Bogotá; I hate leaving...
This was the first time that on August 6th, the foundation date of the city of Bogotá, a sort of summer carnaval was organised (in a chilly Bogotá). Several groups out of different neighbourhoods and parts of the country walked in the parade.
My 6 weeks came to an end, I was sitting in the waiting area, Air France flight being catered, an Avianca B767 being towed and an MD-83 taking off in the background.
