This was taken when leaving Pireaus on board the marvellous Blue Star Ithaki, a brand new greek ferry. The other ships are the good old Daedalos which is unfortunately not longer in Greece and the Penelope A, one of my favorites.
Some pictures from the tour on board the beautiful sail training ship "Grossherzogin Elisabeth". We went from Elsfleth to Netherlands and England. The Church pictures were taken in- and outside the splendid Cathedral of Norwich. This is definitely a MUST for everyone going there.

Here you see a storm during the passage of the Indian Ocean. The video was taken from the bridge of a 335 m long container ship with a mass of some 100000 tons. Quite funny...
Here you see how it looks to be at anchor in front of the southerly entrance to the Suez Canal. At this time of the day it is still comfortably warm. Later on it is just awfully hot...

A whole convoy consisting of all kind of cargo ships had to anchor in the great bitter lake (Suez Canal) to allow the northbound convoy to pass without stop. It was a fantastic view
