5/14 - A few years ago a portable jukebox was discovered which belonged to John Lennon in the 1960s. The jukebox conntained a tracklist of 40 records - soul, R&B and Rock 'n' Roll - written in Lennon's own handwriting. These are the songs which shaped his musical education and they reveal many of the original sources of inspiration for his later songwriting.

The Isley Brothers came to Motown in 1966, thier first single This Old Heart Of Mine was a song the Supremes rejected but eventually recorded, the Isley's had 3 Tamla albums before leaving to form thier own T-Neck label in 1969
