My Sherpa friend Pemba from Nepal has had a lifelong dream to Visit this great nation of ours The United States of America on a travel visa. This summer I will fullfill his dream in a fundraising climb of MT.Rainer together with him. All proceeds from the fundraiser, will be given to Mr. Pemba Sherpa in order to pay his travel expenses.

It would be another six hours of walking until we reached the trekking hub of Chomrong. We said goodbye to the grundgy Moonlight Lodge and hoped that Chomrong would be better.
