Finally finished my first retail stage, The Azure Palace. It took a week to make so I really hope you guys enjoy this. I tried so hard to make it pretty EPIC while staying within the stages limits.
Plus there's a huge boss battle at the end with awesome sword action!!!
I'll update the info on where to find this stage once the servers go up.
If you're in the beta, you can play my test level in NE Canada called LittleBigPhantasy Bestiary.
Scrapped the mecha idea for now and went straight to dragons. It looks like it'll work so far. =D
Was inspired by Phantasy Star Online when I made this so hopefully I can give this big ass beast some flight capabilities as well.
BTW, this is the original vid.
This video was just made as an attempt to ace, but lo and behold... it didn't happen. It shows some visual updates to the game and the lack of an electrified key, which has definitely made it a lot easier. The dragon is still intense though. =P
Here we go. First steps to getting a giant robot walking. It's somewhat archaic, but it gets the job done for now.
Currently working on more of a hydraulic system for better movement.
Here is my first level attempt from the retail version. Luckily I got it a little earlier than most. =P
Anyway, this level is called The Azure Palace. I'm not quite done with this stage, but I figured I'd show you what I'm up to so far.
Plus there's a beasty dragon waiting for you in the deep, dark waters!!! ^^
I think I was behind the camera too much because in the beginning, the Wiimote wouldn't register my attacks, so I'm all handicapped when fighting the Zakus. Anyway, it's the only water mission I've done in the game so far, plus it's not that impressive. Anyway, enjoy and import this game NAO!!!
Here you control Yuu Kajima and the Blue Destiny unit and attempt to defend a base. Later on after dispatching the enemies, you meet up with Nimbus Scherzen and the EXAM equipped Efreet. It's a pretty epic battle and the controls only make this match even more awesome. Check it out.
