Had the opportunity to get in on a track rental day with our Sledgehammer Project. We had the opportunity to make 4 complete runs. This was the first time to the drag strip so the first 3 runs were getting a feel for the car. Drove the car to the track, made the runs on 19's and drove home. All runs were made on racegas.
We just "de-tuned" this particular Evo from a 40R combination to a standard 35R for street use. We decided to have a little fun and see what kind of power could be had with pumpgas. This was all in fun so we thought we would share.
This particular car we've nicknamed the Sledgehammer... stock engine with bolt ons... dyno'd on our Dynojet in RWD on racegas. 1.65 bar peak boost. This car is running our newest hybrid turbochargers.
